The Clutch Crew formalized as a Hot Air Balloon Chase Crew in 1986. Since then, the heart and soul of the Clutch Crew has been based on having fun and at the same time getting the job done to the best of our abilities. As a result, we have developed the reputation of always being there to catch the balloon when it returns to earth.

Through the years we have always invited anyone who is interested in learning about crewing for Hot Air Balloons to join us. Because of that, the Clutch Crew has become a diverse collection of peoples that gather from all over the world to join in the magic that is Hot Air Ballooning.
